I was extremely impressed with the quality of service at New Moda Custom Tailors. There are many options in Chiang Mai, but I doubt any come to close to New Moda’s customer service. I came in looking for a new suit and two dress shirts, and I am difficult to fit since I have wide shoulders and back. The original drafts were done in 24 hours. They fitted me, listened to my feedback, and made changes 3 times total over the course of 2.5 days. I had to leave Chiang Mai the afternoon after the 3rd fitting, and Gary made sure to finish my requested alterations before I left the city and even brought the clothes to my hotel to drop off. The quality is great and I am happy to support a business that takes such good care of its customers. Thank you Gary and Max! ~ David E

I had an excellent experience with this tailor. I ordered a custom suit, vest, trousers, and two shirts, and the whole process was very professional from start to finish. The staff had a great attitude and very friendly approach. They took detailed measurements and invited me for several fittings, carefully adjusting everything so the clothes would fit perfectly. You can really see that they care about the final result and about the customer. What impressed me the most was the speed and precision. In just 6 days, everything was perfectly tailored to my body. I decided to get a couple of sport jackets while in Chaing Mai. I chose New Moda Custom Tailors based on the positive reviews primarily. I went there on a Wednesday afternoon. Max and Giri were fabulous in helping me narrow down my choices. My first fitting was that evening (image attached) and decided to also then have some pants made. They took my measurements that night. I came back Thursday evening for a second fitting on the jackets and first fitting for the pants. Friday evening they were done and I tried them on to confirm a perfect fit. They even had them delivered to my hotel for convenience. Such personal and professional service. They now have my measurements so I can order from home! I can’t recommend them any more. Awesome experience and results! ~ Randy S

I happened to have chanced on New Moda Tailors while visiting the night bazaar area in Chiang Mai. What drew my attention was the quality of the suit on display and to say I was impressed with the quality of work done for me is an understatement. I ordered a suit for my self, my brother and a jacket for my father. By the next evening, it was ready for fitting and it required very little adjustments. I eventually picked up my order the following day and I couldn't be any happier. The price, I must add is one of the best you can find in Chiang Mai. I had visited a few tailors the day before after reading reviews on tripadvisor and also on the recommendations of a fellow participant at my conference and I can tell you, you can't go wrong with New Moda Custom Tailors ~ Nana A

I worked with John to make two suits and two shirts. John was very helpful and patient with helping me select the best material for me. As in all shops, there is a range in fabric quality. The best quality in one shop maybe the middle in another. New Moda's range of fabrics were really good quality and reasonably priced to match. They made a huge effort to make sure they fit. I went in for two fittings and everything came out perfectly. The first fitting was to make sure they are on the right track and make sure I like fit. Second fitting was to perfect the look I wanted. I was extremely impressed with the workmanship. Liners in pants to stitching on inside of jacket. Will 100% order again from there and won't hesitate to recommend to anyone else. ~ Justin K

John,Lucky and team were extremely helpful in my short stay in Chiang Mai. Even though i was there for effectively two days, they readily accept my order and got to work immediately. Once i finished my first fitting, i was impressed with their quality and their hospitality that i decided to buy two more shirts. They made it within an incredibly short timespan delivering it to me the same day and with top notch quality. Notjing but good words to say for New Moda Custom Tailors. They are also very fluent in their English and pleasant to talk to. They shared many of their stories with me while we were doing fittings or measuring. They are not out there just for your business. I initially walked in just for a consultation, and within a mere 45 minutes, I had picked out my material and had all my measurements taken. The staff were attentive and provided great guidance without any pressure. The process itself was seamless. My second appointment was a quick fit test where minor adjustments were noted. By the third and final appointment, the test fit was absolutely perfect, and I was able to pick up my new garment. I bin durch die guten Rezensionen auf Google Maps auf New Moda Tailors gestoßen & muss sagen ich wurde nicht enttäuscht. Super Beratung über Längen, Qualität & und Optik. We found New Moda on a recent trip to Chiang Mai and can honestly say that it was the best custom tailor experience we've encountered (and we've used several other custom tailors around the world). Max made the process easy and stress free. He had a large selection of fabrics to choose from and made design suggestions to fit my husband's build perfectly. After a little negotiation, we ordered 4 blazers and 6 dress shirts, had 3 fittings, and Max delivered the completed items to our hotel on our third evening. The final pieces were meticulously sewn with additional buttons for reinforcement on the blazers. We highly recommend New Moda and plan to order additional items to be shipped home. ~ Tracey R

Came to Thailand for a holiday and my plan was to get a suit made. I knew I would stay for 5 days in Chiang Mai so I did a lot of research online. New Moda didn't have any negative reviews and I thought I would go there when I arrived in Chiang Mai. When I got there I was welcomed very friendly. I was lucky to be looked after by "Lucky". I didn't know a lot about suits and he was very helpful and explained everything. He showed me the different materials incl. burn test. I ended up ordering 2 suits, Navy blue and Black. The first day I got measured and after that I had 3 more fittings with Lucky to get my suits perfect. Lucky also helped me to get other things around Chiang Mai I was looking for. Max and his family are top class. There is no pressure, fair prices, and an unbeatable attention to detail. They taught me a great deal about how things should fit and why they do the things they do. I have purchased 10 shirts and 2 suits from them and received 4 fittings over a 3 day period. I have no regrets in doing business with them. I looked forward to every fitting and conversation. They're just nice, honest people who take great pride in their work. They responded in minutes via Facebook as my Thai sim was acting up. They even preemptively had our favorite beers ready for us at every fitting! I challenge anyone to find a more ethical and nice group. I will return to their shop one day again. I went to get a shirt made here and the experience was truly great. At first I was a bit weary to visit a tailor in Chiang Mai because of all the bad experiences with tailors here I'd read online, but after comparing a few shops with good online reviews this one felt right. I didn't have a lot of time in Chiang Mai, but they were able to deliver very fast. I was helped by Max, who was proficient, very friendly and spoke English perfectly. When I wanted to make an adjustment, it was no problem and was fixed within a day. Because I liked what they delivered and since it was good quality and a good price, I decided to have another shirt made, which was ready within a day as well. I got some good color advice on what to pair with my suit and the fit was perfect. All in all, great experience! Would definitely return. ~ Jeroen v

They were so helpful and offer a high quality product for a fair price! The owner was very knowledgeable and helped me decide the color and styles of my shirt and suit. It fit so nicely that I ended up getting a second shirt made too! The whole process is very easy and quick. The first day I chose the fabric and style that I wanted and got sized. That evening I went back to see how the jacket fit. A few days later it was all ready for me to try on. The pants were a touch tight and they took it back and made them a little wider and had it finished by the next day. They were very kind, respectful, and not at all pushy. They even helped give me advice for my travels to and from Pai and where to find the best Muay Thai fight. ~ Cole S

Giri i jego koledzy wykonali fenomenalną robotę. W krótkim czasie dostarczyli garnitur odpowiednio dopasowany do mojej sylwetki. Skończyło się na tym, że kupiłem trzy garnitury, chociaż moim zamiarem było kupienie max. 2! Giri jest bardzo łatwy w obsłudze i był bardzo pomocny w udzielaniu porad! Fantastic experience and beautifully made end products. I had 6 business shirts made to refresh my work wardrobe. The fit is superb and I'm receiving plenty of compliments. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of these shirts. Yes you will see signboards around Chiang Mai for cheaper packages of suits and shirts but when you enquire about them these are with the most basic fabrics and very little customisation beyond your size. I took the time here to select some contrasting fabrics for cuffs and collar and placket. Selected the collar style, cuff style and button placement. Nothing was too much trouble. The fit is so good and knowing they have my measurements on file. I'm keen to place my next order with them online even if I can't get back to Chiang Mai as soon as I'd like to. ~ J

J'ai commandé un costume trois pièces et le résultat est très satisfaisant. Le tissu est de bonne qualité et la coupe est parfaite. Leur travail est très sérieux, je recommande fortement cette adresse. Les délais sont courts (assez long pour faire un travail propre) et les prix reste très correct pour la Thailande. Suits are a lot like cars. You have three options. Cheap, fast, and reliable (in this case, quality). You can only have two out of the three options. I was proven wrong by New Moda. I was provided with a reasonably price, high quality suit in an amazingly short time. I would have paid equally double the price for a suit of this quality back in the United States. I'm glad I came across New Moda Custom Tailors and visited. I arrived on a Wednesday and was guaranteed a suit before I left. The initial measurements will take about half an hour. The following visits will take only about 10-15 minutes to see if they need to make any alterations. I would gladly revisit them again, but from what I hear, they keep your measurements on file for a few years and can easily ship you a suit. Highly recommend! ~ Kenneth P

Mein Freund hat sich einen Anzug und ein Hemd anfertigen lassen. Nach einer netten Beratung zur Stoffauswahl am Morgen konnten wir am selben Abend noch vorbeikommen und er konnte die Hose und das Hemd schon anprobieren. Am darauffolgenden Tag war dann der Anzug schon komplett fertig. Wir sind begeistert von der Freundlichkeit und vorallem der Schnelligkeit. Sehr empfehlenswert. ~ Loreena S
