The suit was completed in just three days, and all pre-arranged appointments were met precisely as agreed truly impressive. After the fitting, I wasn’t completely happy with the trousers. Without hesitation, they tailored an entirely new pair within just 12 hours. I honestly don’t know what else to say except wow. John,Lucky and team were extremely helpful in my short stay in Chiang Mai. Even though i was there for effectively two days, they readily accept my order and got to work immediately. Once i finished my first fitting, i was impressed with their quality and their hospitality that i decided to buy two more shirts. I decided to get a couple of sport jackets while in Chaing Mai. I chose New Moda Custom Tailors based on the positive reviews primarily. I went there on a Wednesday afternoon. Max and Giri were fabulous in helping me narrow down my choices. My first fitting was that evening (image attached) and decided to also then have some pants made. They took my measurements that night. I came back Thursday evening for a second fitting on the jackets and first fitting for the pants. Friday evening they were done and I tried them on to confirm a perfect fit. They even had them delivered to my hotel for convenience. Such personal and professional service. They now have my measurements so I can order from home! I can’t recommend them any more. Awesome experience and results! ~ Randy S

I happened to have chanced on New Moda Tailors while visiting the night bazaar area in Chiang Mai. What drew my attention was the quality of the suit on display and to say I was impressed with the quality of work done for me is an understatement. I ordered a suit for my self, my brother and a jacket for my father. By the next evening, it was ready for fitting and it required very little adjustments. I eventually picked up my order the following day and I couldn't be any happier. The price, I must add is one of the best you can find in Chiang Mai. I worked with John to make two suits and two shirts. John was very helpful and patient with helping me select the best material for me. As in all shops, there is a range in fabric quality. The best quality in one shop maybe the middle in another. New Moda's range of fabrics were really good quality and reasonably priced to match. They made a huge effort to make sure they fit. I went in for two fittings and everything came out perfectly. The first fitting was to make sure they are on the right track and make sure I like fit. Second fitting was to perfect the look I wanted. I was extremely impressed with the workmanship. Liners in pants to stitching on inside of jacket. Will 100% order again from there and won't hesitate to recommend to anyone else. ~ Justin K

I initially walked in just for a consultation, and within a mere 45 minutes, I had picked out my material and had all my measurements taken. The staff were attentive and provided great guidance without any pressure. The process itself was seamless. My second appointment was a quick fit test where minor adjustments were noted. Moda Fashion was recommended to me by a friend and I went there to do a costume and a shirt . First I have to say that I was received with smile and courtesy , Mr Prakash was very good to recommend fabric , color , style and he really did a personalized job . The result was a perfect costume , fitting without any critic . The shirt is also modern , excellent quality and " chic " . Also price is very competitive and he doesnt try to reduce cost by choosing cheap fabric . We have the best quality and style for very affordable price . I also asked them to reduce size of one of my costume ( I lost weight ...) and the result was sincerely perfect fitting , as if it was originally done for my actual size !! Mein Freund hat sich einen Anzug und ein Hemd anfertigen lassen. Nach einer netten Beratung zur Stoffauswahl am Morgen konnten wir am selben Abend noch vorbeikommen und er konnte die Hose und das Hemd schon anprobieren. Am darauffolgenden Tag war dann der Anzug schon komplett fertig. Wir sind begeistert von der Freundlichkeit und vorallem der Schnelligkeit. Sehr empfehlenswert. ~ Loreena S

J'ai commandé un costume trois pièces et le résultat est très satisfaisant. Le tissu est de bonne qualité et la coupe est parfaite. Leur travail est très sérieux, je recommande fortement cette adresse. Les délais sont courts (assez long pour faire un travail propre) et les prix reste très correct pour la Thailande. Came to Thailand for a holiday and my plan was to get a suit made. I knew I would stay for 5 days in Chiang Mai so I did a lot of research online. New Moda didn't have any negative reviews and I thought I would go there when I arrived in Chiang Mai. When I got there I was welcomed very friendly. I was lucky to be looked after by "Lucky". I didn't know a lot about suits and he was very helpful and explained everything. He showed me the different materials incl. burn test. I ended up ordering 2 suits, Navy blue and Black. The first day I got measured and after that I had 3 more fittings with Lucky to get my suits perfect. Lucky also helped me to get other things around Chiang Mai I was looking for. I'm very happy that I chose New Moda custom tailors and would highly recommend it to anyone else. Ask for Lucky! ~ Markus J

Suits are a lot like cars. You have three options. Cheap, fast, and reliable (in this case, quality). You can only have two out of the three options. I was proven wrong by New Moda. I was provided with a reasonably price, high quality suit in an amazingly short time. I would have paid equally double the price for a suit of this quality back in the United States. I'm glad I came across New Moda Custom Tailors and visited. I arrived on a Wednesday and was guaranteed a suit before I left. The initial measurements will take about half an hour. The following visits will take only about 10-15 minutes to see if they need to make any alterations. I would gladly revisit them again, but from what I hear, they keep your measurements on file for a few years and can easily ship you a suit. Highly recommend! ~ Kenneth P

My husband decided to do some alteration on his 15 year old suits while in Chiang Mai. The first night we had asked several highly rated tailors but none of them were eager and willing to take the risk for alteration. We ended up with new moda. They were very helpful and kind and happy to do it. John, the boss and Lucky went above and beyond for my husband, not minding to change every little detail and not minding to work late at night for us. My husband ended up not just doing the alterations but also making a few new shirts that have excellent quality and they fit perfectly. The price is also very fair! They were so helpful and offer a high quality product for a fair price! The owner was very knowledgeable and helped me decide the color and styles of my shirt and suit. It fit so nicely that I ended up getting a second shirt made too! The whole process is very easy and quick. The first day I chose the fabric and style that I wanted and got sized. That evening I went back to see how the jacket fit. A few days later it was all ready for me to try on. The pants were a touch tight and they took it back and made them a little wider and had it finished by the next day. They were very kind, respectful, and not at all pushy. I went to get a shirt made here and the experience was truly great. At first I was a bit weary to visit a tailor in Chiang Mai because of all the bad experiences with tailors here I'd read online, but after comparing a few shops with good online reviews this one felt right. I didn't have a lot of time in Chiang Mai, but they were able to deliver very fast. I was helped by Max, who was proficient, very friendly and spoke English perfectly. When I wanted to make an adjustment, it was no problem and was fixed within a day. Because I liked what they delivered and since it was good quality and a good price, I decided to have another shirt made, which was ready within a day as well. I got some good color advice on what to pair with my suit and the fit was perfect. All in all, great experience! Would definitely return. ~ Jeroen v

Fantastic experience and beautifully made end products. I had 6 business shirts made to refresh my work wardrobe. The fit is superb and I'm receiving plenty of compliments. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of these shirts. Yes you will see signboards around Chiang Mai for cheaper packages of suits and shirts but when you enquire about them these are with the most basic fabrics and very little customisation beyond your size. I took the time here to select some contrasting fabrics for cuffs and collar and placket. Selected the collar style, cuff style and button placement. Nothing was too much trouble. The fit is so good and knowing they have my measurements on file. I'm keen to place my next order with them online even if I can't get back to Chiang Mai as soon as I'd like to. ~ J

Max and his family are top class. There is no pressure, fair prices, and an unbeatable attention to detail. They taught me a great deal about how things should fit and why they do the things they do. I have purchased 10 shirts and 2 suits from them and received 4 fittings over a 3 day period. I have no regrets in doing business with them. I looked forward to every fitting and conversation. They're just nice, honest people who take great pride in their work. They responded in minutes via Facebook as my Thai sim was acting up. They even preemptively had our favorite beers ready for us at every fitting! I challenge anyone to find a more ethical and nice group. I will return to their shop one day again.
